Description

An alpha-blocker that treats men with symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostate enlargement. Relaxes smooth muscle in the prostate and bladder neck and enhances bladder emptying. (Lee, 2000) Has a rapid onset of action and is effective in patients with moderate or severe symptoms. (Christopher J Dunn, 2002) A first-line drug treatment for men with moderate to severe LUTS/BPH, especially in those with prostate volumes < 40 cm3. (Jianming Guo, 2021) A valuable agent for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostate hyperplasia. (Jianming Guo, 2021) A useful therapeutic option in the management of patients with moderate to severe lower urinary tract symptoms. (Katherine A Lyseng-Williamson, 2002) A safe, well-tolerated and clinically effective medicine in improving symptoms and urinary flow rate in patients with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia.
