An otic agent that relieves ear pain, itching, and a buildup of ear wax in the ear due to certain ear conditions. An effective cerumenolytic (a wax softening agent) that facilitates easy removal of impacted ear wax, and reduces pain and irritation. The most superior cerumenolytic as compared to other cerumenolytic agents such as 10% sodium bicarbonate, 2.5% acetic acid, and normal saline.
