Description

Belongs to the class of medicines called 'antifungal' used to treat a broad range of infections caused due to fungi and yeast. An azole antifungal medication that has broad-spectrum fungistatic activity against yeasts and fungi. (F Montero-Gei, 1993) Disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, which is an essential building block in fungal cell membranes. (C.
