Description

A proton pump inhibitor that decreases the amount of acid in the stomach. (Dr L. Laine, 2002) Significantly improves the frequency and severity of all gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms. (R. Jones, 2008) More potent acid inhibitor than other currently available proton pump inhibitors. (B.-S. Sheu, 2005) Maintains intragastric pH above 4 for a longer duration than omeprazole 40mg. (R. Jones T. P., 2008) A safe and effective treatment of chronic heartburn in patients without erosive oesophagitis. (Dr P. O. Katz, 2003) A well-tolerated agent with a strong gastric acid suppression effect. (Jocelyn Zhou, 2016) Provides a faster healing and higher healing rate than lansoprazole 30 mg in erosive esophagitis patients. (M. B. Fennerty, 2005)
