About the product
A dopamine agonist medicament that lowers high levels of prolactin hormone in the blood. (Karen J Tulloch, 2019) A potent and very long-acting inhibitor of prolactin secretion of puerperal lactation and in the treatment of hyperprolactinemic disorders. (C Ferrari, 1995) Ceases the brain from releasing the prolactin hormone from the pituitary gland. A prolactin-lowering drug, more effective and better tolerated than bromocriptine for the treatment of hyperprolactinemic amenorrhea.
