Vibclop Plus ointment combines clobetasol with keratolytics to relieve inflammation, itching and scaling in psoriasis and similar skin conditions. Main uses: relief of inflammation and itching in skin conditions that respond to topical corticosteroids, such as psoriasis; for thickened, dry, scaly or rough skin areas; softens and loosens hyperkeratotic (thickened) skin such as xerosis and ichthyosis; for dry, rough skin, dermatitis, eczema, keratosis palmaris, corns and calluses; helps the skin surface stay moist while the outer layer sheds.

Common side effects of Vibclop Plus Ointment include burning or stinging at the site of application; itching; dry skin; skin irritation or redness; rash; folliculitis or acne-like eruptions. Get medical help at once if you notice thinning of the skin (atrophy) and visible small blood vessels (telangiectasia) with prolonged use; suppression of the body's natural steroid (HPA) axis, Cushing's syndrome or raised blood sugar if the medicine is absorbed into the body; severe irritation or worsening of a skin infection.

Clobetasol works within the skin to settle inflammation, itching and redness. Salicylic Acid loosens the bonds between thick, scaly skin cells so that the outer layer sheds more easily. Urea softens hard, dry and rough skin and helps the outer skin layer hold water. Lactic Acid likewise softens and loosens dry, scaly skin and helps it stay moist, while Sodium Lactate draws water into the outer skin layer. Together they calm the affected area and thin down thickened, scaling skin.

Must not be used on the face, groin or armpits. Must not be used in the eyes, on the lips or on mucous membranes. Must not be used if allergic to any of the ingredients.
