About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Brimovib T Eye Drop is an ophthalmic solution from Vibcare Pharma's Optho division. Each ml contains Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2%w/v, Timolol Maleate 0.5%w/v and Benzalkonium Chloride 0.005%v/v as preservative. It belongs to the class of eye medicines used to lower pressure inside the eye and is packed as 5ml.

How it works

Brimonidine Tartrate works on alpha-2 receptors in the eye to reduce fluid formation, while Timolol Maleate is a beta-blocker that also cuts down the fluid produced in the eye. Together the two active ingredients lower the pressure inside the eye. Benzalkonium Chloride is a preservative that helps limit microbial growth in the solution.
