About the product

Description

Belongs to the class of ophthalmic medications known as prostaglandin inhibitors that is indicated to treat high pressure inside the eye. (L B Enyedi, 1999) An anti-glaucoma medication that maintains a statistically highly significant intraocular pressure reduction around-the-clock. (H K Mishima Y. K., 1997) Lowers pressure in the eye by increasing the flow of natural eye fluids out of the eye. (Caroline M Perry, 2003) A valuable addition to the first-line treatment options for patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. (Caroline M Perry, 2003) Decreases the intraocular pressure by 20–35%, with good tolerability and safety. (M G Uva, 2014) Significantly more effective than timolol 0.5% at reducing intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. (Caroline M Perry, 2003) A valuable drug for the treatment of chronic open-angle glaucoma. (A Alm, 1997) Provides a better effect on intraocular pressure with a stable and sustained intraocular pressure reduction during both day and night. (Lill-Inger Larsson, 2002) A better tolerated drug than pilocarpine 2% eye drops in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. (Diestelhorst, 2000) Provides significantly greater intraocular pressure reduction in chronic angle-closure glaucoma patients than timolol. (Paul T K Chew, 2004) Significantly more effective in reducing intraocular pressure compared with unoprostone for the treatment in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. (T Aung, 2001) A beneficial therapeutic choice for the medical treatment of glaucoma. (H K Mishima, 1996) Significantly reduces intraocular pressure in the majority of glaucomatous patients uncontrolled by beta-blockers. (Ciro Costagliola, 2002) More effective and more convenient ocular hypotensive agent for treating normal-tension glaucoma than timolol. (E L Greve, 1997) Offers a valuable alternative to the available preserved prostaglandin analogs for the treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma/ocular hypertension. (Sanford, 2014)
