Description

A topical broad-spectrum antifungal agent that is used for the treatment of a wide variety of dermatophyte infections and candidiasis. A therapeutic preventive agent for superficial fungal cutaneous infection in intertriginous areas. (Rasthawathana Desomchoke, 2016) Displays fungistatic antimycotic activity by targeting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, thereby inhibiting fungal growth. (P D Crowley, 2014) Minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. An effective drug for skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, intertrigo, and erythrasma. (Khatter & Khan) A suitable choice for the treatment of dermatophytes and Candida species infection in intertriginous areas. (Rasthawathana Desomchoke MD, 2016)
