An antibiotic and retinoid combination gel that is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris. Possesses comedolytic, anti-inflammatory activities and reduces Propionibacterium acnes population. (Jolanta D. Torzecka, 2017) A broad-spectrum antibiotic that stops the growth of bacteria that cause acne. (Bethesda) Provides effective anti-acne treatment by killing the bacteria associated with acne, and stops new acne outbreaks. Improves the appearance of inflamed, infected skin and aid in the healing of acne lesions. Prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which is responsible for bacterial growth. Reduces counts of Propionibacterium acnes, and decreases the numbers of inflammatory and noninflammatory lesions. (Rosso, 2008) Decreases oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin and prevents the growth of acne.
