An injectable PCD franchise gives you monopoly rights to market an injectable PCD company's range to hospitals, nursing homes and prescribers in your district. Vibcare Pharma supplies 100+ injectable SKUs – ceftriaxone, cefoperazone-sulbactam, piperacillin-tazobactam and meropenem for the ward and ICU, pain and steroid injections, pantoprazole and ondansetron, methylcobalamin, iron and vitamin D3 – made at WHO-GMP certified units with a certificate of analysis on every batch, no franchise fee and a written area letter.

Why the Injectable Segment Pays Back

Injectables are the indoor half of pharma. Every admission to a hospital or nursing home – surgery, fever, fracture, delivery, gastro – starts with an injectable antibiotic, a PPI and an antiemetic, and most add a pain injection and a methylcobalamin course. The buyer is the hospital pharmacy or the nursing home owner, who orders by the box, not the strip.

That changes the economics. Ticket size per unit is higher than tablets, orders are larger and repeat weekly rather than monthly, and one converted nursing home is worth a dozen OPD prescribers. The trade-off is that the buyer is more price-aware and expects the same ceftriaxone-sulbactam or piperacillin-tazobactam to be in stock every week, so the injectable PCD company behind you has to hold stock and dispatch fast. That is what we build the range and the dispatch around.

Your buyer base is concentrated and reachable:

  • Hospitals and nursing homes, through the indoor pharmacy
  • Surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons and gynaecologists, for pre- and post-operative cover
  • Physicians and intensivists, for ward and ICU antibiotics
  • Paediatricians, for the 250 mg and 500 mg ceftriaxone strengths
  • Chemists near hospitals, for prescription injections and methylcobalamin
Margin. Vibcare's published margin range across divisions is 20–50%. On non-scheduled injectables – the sulbactam and tazobactam combinations, cefoperazone-sulbactam, PPIs, methylcobalamin combinations, steroids, nandrolone, vitamin D3 – the distributor's net margin typically sits in the upper half. On DPCO items the ceiling price caps the spread, so the volume, not the margin, is the reason to stock them.
One caveat, stated upfront. Several injectables are scheduled formulations under DPCO with a government-fixed ceiling price. In our catalogue these are marked, and the ones to know are ceftriaxone 1 g, meropenem 1 g, clindamycin 600 mg, doxycycline injection, iron sucrose, diclofenac injection and hydrocortisone 100 mg. The combinations – ceftriaxone with sulbactam or tazobactam, cefoperazone-sulbactam, piperacillin-tazobactam, methylcobalamin with niacinamide and pyridoxine – are priced normally. Every DPCO item is flagged on the net-rate list you receive, so check it before you compute margin. An injectable PCD company that does not flag DPCO items before you order is not being straight with you.

The Vibcare Injectable Product Range

Brand names, strengths and pack sizes below are from the live catalogue; each brand links to its product page with MRP, PTR and PTS. The same molecule is listed under more than one division brand – ceftriaxone, for instance, as Zardcef, Yetzone, Evertacef and Ceftacab – which is what lets neighbouring districts hold different brands. PRIMA brands are shown here; the full list is at vibcare.co.in/products.

Antibiotic & Critical-Care Injections 45 SKUs

The volume line. Ceftriaxone in three strengths and four combinations covers most ward admissions; cefoperazone-sulbactam, piperacillin-tazobactam and meropenem cover the ICU; amikacin, clindamycin, tigecycline and colistimethate cover resistant and reserve use.

What You Get with an Injectable PCD Franchise

Written monopoly area letter

You name the district or tehsil. We check availability and issue an area-allotment letter on Vibcare letterhead. No other distributor is appointed for the injectable range in that area while you keep ordering. Turnaround time for the letter is confirmed when you enquire.

Net rates and margins

You buy at net rate and set your own PTR and PTS. Published margins across Vibcare divisions run 20–50%; non-scheduled injectables typically land in the upper half after scheme, and DPCO items are flagged on the list because the ceiling price caps the spread. Before you order, run your numbers on the free PTR/PTS calculator. Around 60,000 chemists use it each quarter.

Free promotional inputs

Every injectable order ships with inputs at no charge:

  • Visual aid covering the injectable range
  • LBLs (leave-behind literature) per brand
  • Physician samples of the fast-movers
  • Reminder cards for the hospital pharmacy
  • MR bags for your field staff

Ask for extra samples of the fast-movers on your first order; we will tell you which ones they are for your region.

Minimum order, payment, dispatch

There is no franchise fee and no security deposit. Minimum order value and payment terms for an injectable-only start are confirmed on WhatsApp before you commit. Across divisions, first orders typically fall between ₹50,000 and ₹2,00,000 depending on how many hospitals and prescribers you cover. Orders confirmed by afternoon are dispatched the same day from Panchkula. Ask us in writing how stock shortages on the antibiotic line are handled before you order; we will answer in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum investment for a Vibcare injectable PCD franchise?

There is no franchise fee and no security deposit. Your only investment is the first stock order. Across divisions, first orders usually fall between ₹50,000 and ₹2,00,000; an injectable-only start is confirmed on WhatsApp before you commit. Use the free PTR/PTS calculator to plan your margin before ordering.

Which injectables are under DPCO, and how does that affect my margin?

Ceftriaxone 1 g, meropenem 1 g, clindamycin 600 mg, doxycycline, iron sucrose, diclofenac and hydrocortisone injections are scheduled formulations with a government-fixed ceiling price, so margin on those SKUs is capped. The combinations – ceftriaxone with sulbactam or tazobactam, cefoperazone-sulbactam, piperacillin-tazobactam, methylcobalamin combinations – and the steroid, nandrolone and vitamin D3 injections are priced normally. Every DPCO item is flagged on the net-rate list you receive.

Injectable PCD company se monopoly kaise milti hai, aur kya ek district ke liye milegi?

Haan. Aap apna district ya tehsil batayein, hum availability check karke written area-allotment letter dete hain. Letter ka time enquiry par confirm hota hai. Uske baad us area mein Vibcare ka injectable range koi aur distributor nahi bechta. Aap chahein toh baad mein area badha sakte hain.

Do the injectables need cold chain?

No. The range has no insulin, vaccines or cold-chain biologicals, so nothing needs refrigeration in transit or at your godown. Each product is stored as per its pack insert, typically below 25°C and protected from light. Dry-powder vials such as ceftriaxone and piperacillin-tazobactam are reconstituted at the point of use.

Who manufactures the Vibcare injectables?

All injectables are made at third-party WHO-GMP certified units under Vibcare brands; our own WHO-GMP site makes the oral and topical ranges. The manufacturing unit is printed on every pack, and every batch ships with a certificate of analysis. Ask for the COA of any injectable before you order.

Which licences do I need to start an injectable PCD franchise?

A wholesale drug licence (Form 20B and 21B) and GST registration, the same as any PCD franchise. Most injectables are Schedule H, so they are sold to hospitals, nursing homes and chemists against prescription; supplying a hospital pharmacy needs no extra licence beyond the wholesale licence. Share both documents on WhatsApp after your area is confirmed.
