Vibther Inj is an Alpha Beta Arteether 150mg antimalarial injection used for severe falciparum malaria. Main uses: treatment of severe and complicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum; treatment of cerebral malaria; treatment of malaria with high parasite counts in the blood; treatment of falciparum malaria that has not responded to oral medicines; given by a doctor or nurse as an intramuscular injection in a hospital setting.

Common side effects of Vibther Inj include pain or swelling at the injection site; nausea; vomiting; abdominal discomfort; dizziness; headache. Get medical help at once if you notice neurotoxicity such as unsteady walking, slurred speech or ringing in the ears, mainly with high or repeated doses; severe allergic reaction with rash, swelling of the face or difficulty breathing; disturbances in liver or kidney function test results.
