About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Drovib Injection is an injectable anti-spasmodic medicine from Vibcare Pharma. Each injection contains Drotaverine 40 mg, a smooth muscle relaxant. The injection is packed as 10's and is produced in Vibcare Pharma's Prima division for hospital and clinic use under medical supervision.

How it works

Drotaverine acts on the smooth muscle in the walls of the gut, bile ducts, urinary tract and uterus. It lowers the level of calcium inside these muscle cells, so the muscle stops contracting tightly. As the spasm relaxes, the cramping pain in that area comes down.
