Olovib MD 10 tablets contain Olanzapine 10 mg and are used for schizophrenia and manic or mixed episodes of bipolar I disorder. Main uses: treatment of schizophrenia in adults and in adolescents aged 13 to 17 years; acute treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar I disorder in adults and adolescents aged 13 to 17 years; acute treatment of mixed episodes associated with bipolar I disorder in adults and adolescents aged 13 to 17 years; maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in adults; in adolescents, other medicines may be considered first because of the higher chance of weight gain and changes in blood fats; use only after a thorough diagnostic evaluation and careful weighing of risks.

Common side effects of Olovib MD 10 Tablet include drowsiness or sedation; weight gain and increased appetite; dizziness, including dizziness on standing; constipation and dry mouth; headache and tiredness; tremor or restlessness (akathisia). Get medical help at once if you notice neuroleptic malignant syndrome (high fever, stiffness, sweating, confusion, with changes in pulse and blood pressure) — needs immediate medical attention; very high blood sugar, sometimes with ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar coma or death; drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS).
