About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Phylovib is a capsule from Vibcare Pharma that contains Acebrophylline 100 mg. It belongs to the respiratory and anti-asthmatic group of medicines, working as a mucolytic and bronchodilator. Each capsule carries 100 mg of Acebrophylline, and the product is packed as 10x10 (Blister). Phylovib is supplied from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Acebrophylline inside the capsule does two jobs at once. It thins and loosens thick mucus stuck in the bronchi, so the mucus can be coughed out more easily. At the same time it relaxes the smooth muscles around the airways and allows them to open up, which reduces tightness in the chest and makes breathing more comfortable in patients with airway blockage and spasm.

Used for

The capsules are used in the long-term management of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and COPD where mucus and airway narrowing cause breathing difficulty. Stomach discomfort, nausea and headache can occur.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
