Description

Cyclovib Plus is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Genvimax division. Each tablet contains Aceclofenac 200 mg and Cyclobenzaprine 15 mg. It belongs to the analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) class combined with a muscle relaxant, and is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that eases pain, tenderness and swelling by bringing down the body's inflammatory response. Cyclobenzaprine acts on the nervous system to relax skeletal muscle, so spasm and the stiffness it brings can settle while the affected area is rested. Together the two ingredients work on both the pain and the muscle spasm that makes the pain worse.

Used for

Cyclovib Plus is used along with rest and physical therapy to relieve muscle spasm linked with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions, including the pain, tenderness and limited movement that come with it, and only for short periods. Serotonin syndrome has been reported when cyclobenzaprine is taken with medicines such as SSRIs, SNRIs or tramadol; get medical help at once if confusion, agitation, sweating, rapid heartbeat, tremor or muscle stiffness appear.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
