About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Bisovib AM 5 is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma that contains Amlodipine 5 mg and Bisoprolol Fumarate 5 mg. It belongs to the cardiovascular class of medicines used as anti-hypertensives. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and comes from the C.U.R.E. division of Vibcare Pharma.
In this tablet, Amlodipine works as a calcium channel blocker. It relaxes the muscle in the walls of the arteries, so the vessels widen and blood flows with less resistance. Bisoprolol Fumarate is a beta blocker. It slows the heartbeat and lowers the force with which the heart works, which helps to bring blood pressure down. The two ingredients act in different ways and together help in blood pressure control.
Bisovib AM 5 is used for the management of high blood pressure (hypertension). It brings blood pressure down by acting on the arteries and on the heart, and it may be used along with other antihypertensive agents as advised by the prescriber.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
