About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Amfovib is a cream offered by Vibcare Pharma. It contains the antifungal ingredient Amorolfine 0.25% w/w. The medicine falls under the antifungal class and is applied to the skin only. It is packed as 30gm. The product comes from Vibcare Pharma's Grace division.
The cream works through its Amorolfine content. Amorolfine acts on the fungus at the surface of the skin. It blocks the making of ergosterol, a substance that forms part of the fungal cell membrane. When this membrane is disturbed, the fungal cell becomes weak and the fungus cannot continue to grow on the treated skin.
Amfovib cream is used for fungal infections of the skin, including ringworm of the body (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), athlete's foot (tinea pedis) and Candida infection of the skin.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
