Description

Kozyvib Plus is a cream meant for application on the skin. Each gram of the cream contains Beclomethasone 0.025%w/w, Neomycin 0.5%w/w, Clotrimazole 1.0%w/w, Methylparaben 0.15%w/w and Propylparaben (Preservative) 0.8w/w. It belongs to the class of topical antifungal, antibiotic and corticosteroid combinations and is packed as 15gm, from Vibcare Pharma's Grace division.

How it works

Clotrimazole in the cream acts against the fungi that cause skin infections and stops their further growth. Neomycin is a topical antibiotic that works against bacteria present on the affected skin. Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid that brings down the redness, swelling and itching of inflamed skin. Methylparaben and Propylparaben are preservatives that keep the cream free from microbial growth while it is stored and used.

This cream is used for fungal skin infections such as ringworm of the body, groin and feet, and skin candidiasis where the skin is inflamed, itchy or has a secondary bacterial infection.
