About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Vibobrom M Eye Drop is an eye drop from Vibcare Pharma. Each millilitre has Bromfenac 0.09% w/v, Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v and Benzalkonium Chloride 0.02% v/v. It is an ophthalmology medicine, an anti-inflammatory and anti-infective drop, packed as 5ml from Vibcare Pharma's Optho division.

How it works

Bromfenac is an NSAID that blocks prostaglandin formation by stopping cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, and so eases eye inflammation and pain. Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone anti-infective that works against the bacteria that cause bacterial conjunctivitis. Benzalkonium Chloride is a preservative that helps inhibit microbial growth once the bottle is opened.

Vibobrom M Eye Drop is used for postoperative inflammation and to reduce eye pain after cataract surgery, and for bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible bacteria.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.

Ask a doctor first

  • Check with a doctor first if you have earlier shown sensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), phenylacetic acid derivatives or other NSAIDs.
  • Check with a doctor first if you use topical steroid eye drops or other NSAID eye drops, as healing may be slow or delayed.
  • Check with a doctor first if you wear contact lenses; contact lenses should not be worn while signs of eye infection are present.
  • Check with a doctor first if you have bleeding problems of the eye or take blood-thinning medicines, as topical NSAIDs may increase bleeding of ocular tissues.
