A topical multi-ingredient anorectal cream formulated to provide comprehensive relief from haemorrhoids (piles), anal fissures, and perianal inflammation through four synergistic mechanisms of action. Calcium Dobesilate is a vasoprotective medicine that works on the walls of small blood vessels, reducing their leakage and fragility, while also improving blood flow by decreasing blood viscosity, thereby relieving inflammation in piles and haemorrhoids and promoting healing. It decreases capillary permeability, inhibits platelet aggregation, and improves blood viscosity, resulting in a reduction of tissue oedema. In a randomised, double-blind controlled study, calcium dobesilate achieved an 86.21% success rate with cessation of bleeding and significant improvement in anoscopically observed inflammation at two weeks. Hydrocortisone Acetate binds to glucocorticoid receptors, inhibiting various inflammatory pathways and reducing mast cell activity and vasoconstriction, effectively alleviating the redness, itching, and swelling associated with haemorrhoids. Zinc Oxide, with its mild astringent and antiseptic properties, soothes irritated skin, reduces redness, protects against bacterial infection, and creates a protective barrier on the skin's surface to promote healing.
