Cedovib 250 (10 Pack) is Cefuroxime Axetil 250 mg for pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bacterial sinusitis and uncomplicated skin and urinary infections. Main uses: treatment of mild-to-moderate pharyngitis and tonsillitis caused by susceptible bacteria; acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis; acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis; uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections; uncomplicated urinary tract infections.

Common side effects of Cedovib 250 Tablet include diarrhoea; nausea or vomiting; abdominal pain; headache; vaginitis; jarisch-Herxheimer reaction (fever, chills, muscle aches) during early Lyme disease treatment. Get medical help at once if you notice serious allergic (anaphylactic) reactions, including rash, swelling of the face or throat and breathing difficulty — stop the medicine and seek medical help at once; severe watery or bloody diarrhoea, which may be caused by Clostridioides difficile — tell a doctor immediately.

The active ingredient, Cefuroxime Axetil, works by stopping susceptible bacteria from building their cell walls. Without a proper wall the bacteria cannot survive and multiply. It acts against susceptible bacteria that cause the specific infections it is indicated for, such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis, acute bacterial maxillary sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, and uncomplicated skin, urinary tract and other listed infections. Antibacterial medicines of this class are used only when an infection is proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.

Must not be used if there is a known allergy to Cefuroxime Axetil or to other beta-lactam antibacterial drugs such as penicillins and cephalosporins.
