About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Hexovib is a liquid mouthwash from Vibcare Pharma's Grace division. Each millilitre carries Chlorhexidine 0.2% w/v as its active antiseptic ingredient. It falls in the dermatology and topical group as an oral and dental antiseptic, and it is packed as 100ml.

How it works

Chlorhexidine works on the surfaces of the teeth and the gum line by killing the germs that gather there. Because the germs that form dental plaque are reduced, less plaque collects on the teeth and gums. The rinse is used between dental visits as part of a dentist's professional programme.

Used for

This mouthwash is used for gingivitis, where the gums look red and swollen and may bleed during probing, as part of a professional programme between dental visits. Check with a dentist first if you have periodontitis alongside gingivitis, or if mouth irritation, swelling or a rash appears.

Read the label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist if unsure.
