This also eases swelling that is caused by excess fluid in body tissues, making it useful where fluid retention is part of the problem.
Used for
Vibclor 6.25 is used in the management of hypertension, either alone or to support other antihypertensive drugs in more severe forms of high blood pressure. It is also used as adjunctive therapy in oedema linked with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis and corticosteroid or estrogen therapy, and in oedema from renal dysfunction such as nephrotic syndrome, on a doctor's prescription.

- Must not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to chlorthalidone or other sulfonamide-derived drugs
