CILNIVIB 10 CILNIDIPINE 10mg. IP

Cilnivib 10 tablets contain Cilnidipine 10 mg and are used for the management of high blood pressure. Main uses: management of hypertension (high blood pressure); treatment of essential hypertension; helping to keep blood pressure at a lower level as advised by the doctor.

Common side effects of Cilnivib 10 Tablet include dizziness; headache; flushing or a feeling of warmth in the face; palpitations; swelling of the feet or ankles (peripheral oedema); nausea. Get medical help at once if you notice severe fall in blood pressure (marked hypotension); abnormal liver function or jaundice; slow heart rate or heart block (rare).

Both actions together help in keeping blood pressure at a lower level.

Must not be used by patients allergic to Cilnidipine or other dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers. Must not be used during pregnancy. Must not be used in cardiogenic shock. Must not be used in severe aortic stenosis. Must not be used in severe hypotension (very low blood pressure).
