About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Ciprovib TZ is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division. Each tablet contains Ciprofloxacin 500 mg and Tinidazole 600 mg. It belongs to the antibiotic and anti-infective (antibacterial) class. The product is packed as 10x10 (Blister).

How it works

Ciprofloxacin blocks enzymes that bacteria need to copy their DNA, so they cannot multiply and are cleared from the body. Tinidazole is a nitroimidazole that acts on the DNA of protozoa and certain bacteria, bringing the infection under control. The two ingredients work on different kinds of organisms in the same tablet.

Used for

The tablets are used for infectious diarrhoea, typhoid fever, intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis and complicated intra-abdominal infections caused by organisms that respond to these medicines.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
