About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Dapavib M 10/500 is an anti-diabetic tablet from Vibcare Pharma. Every tablet carries Dapagliflozin 10 mg and Metformin 500 mg. It is a combination medicine meant for blood sugar control, packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Dapagliflozin works in the kidneys by cutting down the glucose that is reabsorbed back into the blood, so the extra sugar leaves the body through urine. Metformin acts on the liver to reduce the sugar it produces and helps the body use its own insulin more effectively. Used together, the two ingredients work in different ways to lower blood sugar.
