About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Glucolam is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division, packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu). Each tablet contains Diacerein 50 mg, Glucosamine 750 mg and Methyl Sulphonyl Methane 250 mg. It belongs to the class of medicines used for joint care in osteoarthritis with pain.

How it works

Diacerein works by lowering the joint chemicals that cause inflammation, so pain, swelling and stiffness come down. Glucosamine is a building block of the cartilage that cushions the joint and the fluid around it, and it supports the cartilage in a worn joint. Methyl Sulphonyl Methane supplies sulphur to joint tissue and helps with joint comfort and stiffness.
