About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Difluvib M Eye Drop is an eye drop from Vibcare Pharma's Optho division. Each millilitre of the drops contains Difluprednate 0.05%w/v, Moxifloxacin 0.5%w/v and Sorbic Acid 0.1%w/v. It belongs to the ophthalmology class and combines a topical corticosteroid with a fluoroquinolone anti-infective in one formulation. The product is packed as 5ml.

How it works

The drops work through three ingredients acting together. Difluprednate is a topical corticosteroid that lowers the eye's inflammatory response, so swelling, redness and pain after eye surgery or in anterior uveitis are reduced. Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone anti-infective that acts against susceptible bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae. Sorbic acid is present in the formulation as a preservative.

Used for

Difluvib M Eye Drop is used for inflammation and pain associated with ocular surgery, for endogenous anterior uveitis, and for bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible organisms.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
