About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Doxivib 100 is a capsule from Vibcare Pharma's Genvimax division. Every capsule carries Doxycycline 100 mg as its active ingredient, a medicine of the tetracycline class of antibiotics (antibacterial agents). The product comes packed as 10x10 (Blister).
Doxivib 100 is an antibiotic of the tetracycline group. It acts against the susceptible bacteria responsible for the infection for which it is prescribed. Where culture and susceptibility information is available, it is taken into account when this medicine is selected. It does not act against organisms that are not susceptible to doxycycline.
Doxivib 100 is used for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, such as rickettsial fevers including typhus and tick fevers, respiratory infections due to Mycoplasma pneumoniae, chlamydial infections, psittacosis, nongonococcal urethritis, relapsing fever and chancroid.
