About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Doxivib LB is a capsule from Vibcare Pharma, containing Doxycycline 100 mg and Lactic Acid Bacillus 5 Million Spores. It is classified as an antibacterial agent combined with a probiotic. The product is packed as 10x10 (Blister) and is offered from Vibcare Pharma's Genvimax division.

How it works

Inside each capsule, Doxycycline works as a tetracycline antibiotic, stopping susceptible bacteria from forming the proteins they need to grow and multiply. Lactic Acid Bacillus is a probiotic that supplies friendly bacteria to the intestine, helping the normal gut flora stay in balance while the antibiotic is at work. Together, the two ingredients address the infection and support intestinal wellbeing during treatment.

Used for

Doxivib LB is used for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including rickettsial fevers, respiratory infections from Mycoplasma pneumoniae, chlamydial infections, nongonococcal urethritis, relapsing fever and chancroid. Use during pregnancy should be avoided unless the potential benefit justifies the potential risk, and it should be used with care while breastfeeding. In children 8 years or younger it may cause permanent tooth discolouration and enamel defects, so it must be used in them only for severe or life-threatening conditions when the expected benefit outweighs the risk and no alternative therapy is available.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
