About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Dulovib 20 is a capsule that contains Duloxetine 20 mg as the active ingredient. It falls in the class of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), a group of medicines that act on chemical messengers in the brain. Each pack is 10x10 (Blister), and the product comes from Vibcare Pharma's Mind division.

How it works

Duloxetine works by increasing the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain. These messengers play a part in mood and also in carrying pain signals through the nervous system. By strengthening their action in the central nervous system, duloxetine helps to steady mood, ease anxiety and reduce the intensity of nerve and muscle pain signals. The exact way it works in people is not fully known, but this action on serotonin and norepinephrine is believed to be behind its antidepressant, anxiolytic and pain-inhibiting effects.

Used for

Dulovib 20 is used for major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder in adults, and for diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia and chronic musculoskeletal pain in adults. Its use must be avoided in patients with chronic liver disease or those who drink alcohol heavily, and the dose must be lowered gradually by a doctor rather than stopped suddenly. Use only on a doctor's prescription.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
