About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Containing Etoricoxib 120 mg in tablet form, Etojem 120 is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medicine of the COX-2 selective NSAID class. Vibcare Pharma manufactures the product and it is packed as 10x10 (Blister). The brand is marketed through Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division.

How it works

In this tablet, Etoricoxib acts by stopping the COX-2 enzyme from doing its job. When a tissue is hurt or inflamed, COX-2 helps the body produce prostaglandins, and these are what make an area painful and swollen. By cutting down prostaglandin production at the site of the problem, the medicine brings relief from pain and reduces the swelling that goes with it.

Used for

Doctors prescribe Etojem 120 for short-term relief of the pain and swelling seen during an acute gouty arthritis attack, and for pain during menstrual periods.
