About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Farovib 200 is an antibiotic tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Genvimax division. Each tablet contains Faropenem 200 mg. It belongs to the antibiotic and anti-infective class, and is packed as 10x1x6 (Alu Strip).
Faropenem works by stopping bacteria from forming their cell walls, and without a strong wall the bacteria cannot survive and the infection is brought under control. Because it is an antibiotic, it acts against bacteria only and has no effect on viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
Doctors prescribe these tablets for bacterial infections such as those of the airways and lungs, the ear, nose and throat, the urinary tract and the skin and soft tissues.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
