Description

Available from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division, Ferojem XT is a tablet containing Ferrous Bisglycinate 60 mg, Zinc Bisglycinate 15 mg, Folic Acid 1 mg and Methylcobalamin 500 mcg. The brand Ferojem XT falls in the haematinic and anti-anaemic class and is supplied in a 10x15 (Blister) pack.

How it works

In this tablet, Ferrous Bisglycinate provides chelated iron for haemoglobin and red blood cell production. Zinc Bisglycinate helps in normal blood cell formation and in the body's use of iron. Folic acid takes part in making red blood cells and in cell division, and methylcobalamin, a vitamin B12 form, supports blood formation and nerve function.

Used for

Ferojem XT is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia and folate deficiency anaemia, and in pregnancy for prevention and treatment of iron deficiency with a maintenance supply of folic acid. Keep it out of reach of children; accidental overdose of iron can be fatal in children, so contact a doctor or poison control immediately after an accidental overdose.

Read the label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist if unsure.
