About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Xenodac Cream is a cream meant for application on the skin. Each gram of the cream contains Fusidic Acid 2.0% w/w as the active ingredient. It belongs to the class of topical antibiotics, also called topical antibacterial agents. The pack is packed as 10gm, and the product is from Vibcare Pharma's Grace division.
Fusidic acid, the ingredient in this cream, is an antibiotic that works by stopping bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow. When applied to the affected skin, it acts at the site of infection and lowers the number of susceptible bacteria on the skin surface. Because the cream stays on the skin, the ingredient works locally at the area where it is applied.
Xenodac Cream is used for superficial skin infections caused by bacteria that are sensitive to fusidic acid, such as impetigo, infected hair follicles, infected eczema and other infected dermatoses, and small infected wounds.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
