Ketovib K5 is a prescription cream for inflammatory skin conditions with fungal involvement, as decided by a doctor. Main uses: prescription cream for skin conditions with fungal involvement together with marked redness, itching and swelling, only when a doctor has examined the skin and prescribed it; skin inflammation with fungal involvement where a strong corticosteroid is considered suitable by a doctor; fungal skin infections where bacteria are also present on the skin, only on a doctor's prescription; not meant for routine use on a simple fungal rash; the steroid in this cream can mask or worsen a fungal infection if the cream is used wrongly or for too long; use only for the condition the doctor has confirmed, and only on the areas the doctor has advised.

Common side effects of Ketovib K5 Cream include burning or stinging at the application site; itching or irritation where the cream is applied; dry or tight feeling of the treated skin; redness of the treated skin; folliculitis or acne-like eruptions; thinning of the skin with continuous use. Get medical help at once if you notice allergic reaction or contact dermatitis with rash, swelling or blisters; stretch marks and visible small blood vessels on the skin; suppression of the body's own steroid production with large-area or long use (Cushing's syndrome, rise in blood sugar).

Ketoconazole and Tolnaftate work together to stop fungus from growing on the skin. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline acts against surface germs on the affected area. Must not be used by anyone allergic to any of its ingredients, including ketoconazole, neomycin or corticosteroids. Must not be used in or around the eyes.
