About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Labetovib 100 is a tablet made by Vibcare Pharma. Each tablet carries Labetalol Hydrochloride 100 mg as its active ingredient. It belongs to the cardiovascular group of medicines classified as anti-hypertensive. The tablets are packed as 10x10 (Blister) and come from Vibcare Pharma's Cure division.

How it works

Labetalol Hydrochloride works on two types of receptors at the same time. It blocks alpha receptors on the blood vessel walls, so the vessels relax and widen, and it blocks beta receptors in the heart, so the heart pumps with less force. Together these actions reduce the pressure in the arteries.

Used for

These tablets are used in the management of hypertension and may be given alone or with other antihypertensive agents, especially thiazide and loop diuretics.
