About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Viblanzo Kid 15 is a tablet containing LANSOPRAZOLE 15 mg. It belongs to the class of medicines called proton pump inhibitors, which reduce the amount of acid made in the stomach. This medicine is packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu) and comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Lansoprazole 15 mg in every tablet blocks the acid pump on the acid-making cells of the stomach lining, the last step in the production of stomach acid. It lowers both normal and stimulated acid secretion, so the stomach and the food pipe get a chance to settle and heal while heartburn and pain ease. Even when symptoms improve, this does not rule out a stomach tumour, and further evaluation may be needed.

Used for

These tablets are used for reflux disease and erosive oesophagitis in adults and in children from 1 year of age, and for duodenal and gastric ulcers, ulcers caused by NSAID painkillers, H. pylori infection along with antibiotics, and conditions of excess stomach acid. Long-term use may increase the risk of bone fractures and may lead to low vitamin B12 levels.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
