Losavib H tablets combine losartan and hydrochlorothiazide for the treatment of high blood pressure. Main uses: treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) to lower blood pressure; lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack; reduction of the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy (this benefit has not been shown in Black patients); blood pressure control as part of overall cardiovascular risk management, alongside diet, exercise and other measures.

Common side effects of Losavib H Tablet include dizziness; upper respiratory infection; cough; back pain; headache; tiredness. Get medical help at once if you notice marked low blood pressure in patients who are volume- or salt-depleted; fetal injury and death if used during pregnancy; fluid and electrolyte imbalance (low potassium, low sodium).
