About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Flexovib D is a tablet made by Vibcare Pharma. Each tablet carries Metaxalone 400 mg and Diclofenac 50 mg. It belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines combined with a muscle relaxant. The tablets are packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and come from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

The two ingredients work in different ways. Metaxalone acts on the central nervous system and helps to ease the discomfort felt in painful musculoskeletal conditions, though it does not relax tense muscles directly. Diclofenac reduces the formation of prostaglandins in the affected tissues, and this lowers pain and inflammation in the area.

Used for

This medicine is meant for the relief of discomfort in acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions, along with rest, physical therapy and other measures. NSAIDs such as diclofenac can cause serious cardiovascular thrombotic events like heart attack or stroke, and serious gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation of the stomach or intestines, which can be fatal; the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration should be used. Diclofenac should be avoided from 30 weeks of pregnancy, and between 20 and 30 weeks it should be used only after a clinician-directed risk assessment.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
