METOVIB SR 500 METFORMIN 500mg. IP

Metovib SR 500 sustained-release tablets with Metformin 500 mg help improve blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes. Main uses: as an add-on to diet and exercise to improve glycemic (blood sugar) control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus; for long-term control of raised blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes; the sustained-release tablet form is made to release the medicine slowly during the day.

Common side effects of Metovib SR 500 Tablet include diarrhoea; nausea; vomiting; flatulence (gas); abdominal discomfort or pain; metallic taste in the mouth. Get medical help at once if you notice lactic acidosis (rare, with symptoms such as unusual muscle pain, breathing difficulty, sleepiness, stomach pain and feeling cold); low vitamin B12 levels with long-term use; severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis or angioedema.
