About the product

Description

Telmivib M 50 is an oral tablet from Vibcare Pharma's C-U-R-E division. Every tablet carries Metoprolol Succinate 47.5 mg, Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg and Telmisartan 40 mg. The medicine belongs to the cardiovascular anti-hypertensive class and is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Metoprolol succinate and metoprolol tartrate are two forms of metoprolol, a beta-1 selective blocker that slows the heart rate and lightens the work of the heart. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II. Working together they help keep blood pressure at a lower level.

Telmivib M 50 is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults; lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, mainly strokes and myocardial infarctions.
