About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Motovib Nasal Spray is a nasal spray from Vibcare Pharma's Ventila division. Each millilitre contains Mometasone Furoate 0.05%w/v, Benzalkonium Chloride Solution 0.02%w/v and Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol 0.025%w/v. It belongs to the nasal corticosteroid class of respiratory medicines and is packed as 10ml.

How it works

Mometasone Furoate is a corticosteroid. Inside the nose it lowers the swelling and irritation of the lining, so sneezing, runny nose and blocked nose ease over regular use. Benzalkonium Chloride Solution and Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol serve as preservatives in the formulation and keep the solution free from germs while the pack is in use.

Used for

The spray is used for the treatment of nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and perennial allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, itching, runny and blocked nose, and it may be started ahead of the pollen season to help prevent seasonal symptoms. With long-term use in children there is a risk of adrenal gland suppression or reduced growth, so a doctor should monitor growth during prolonged paediatric use.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
