About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Ablovib N is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Genvimax division. Every tablet carries N-Acetylcysteine 600 mg together with Acebrophylline 100 mg. It falls in the respiratory and anti-asthmatic class of medicines. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Within the tablet, N-Acetylcysteine works as a mucolytic: it breaks the bonds inside thick, sticky mucus so the mucus turns thin and can be coughed out. Acebrophylline supports this by relaxing the muscles around the airways and further reducing the stickiness of mucus, keeping the passages more open.

Used for

Ablovib N is used when the airways hold thick mucus and breathing feels difficult, as in chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma with mucus build-up.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
