Parajem Plus Syrup helps with cough, cold, blocked nose, sneezing and fever from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division. Main uses: relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation; relieves nasal and sinus congestion; relieves runny nose, sneezing and itchy, watery eyes due to a cold or allergy; relieves sore throat and headache during a cold; relieves minor aches and pains due to the common cold.

Common side effects of Parajem Plus Syrup include drowsiness; dry mouth, nose or throat; dizziness; nausea or stomach discomfort; thickening of bronchial secretions; nervousness or restlessness.

Parajem Plus Syrup contains Paracetamol 250 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg + Cetirizine 2.5 mg + Sodium Citrate 25 mg + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 5 mg + Menthol 1 mg. Parajem Plus Syrup contains Paracetamol 250 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg + Cetirizine 2.5 mg + Sodium Citrate 25 mg + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 5 mg + Menthol 1 mg. It comes in a pack of 60ml.

The six ingredients act together in different ways. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide settles the cough that comes from irritation in the throat and bronchi, Phenylephrine eases a blocked nose, and Cetirizine checks sneezing and itchy, watery eyes. Paracetamol brings down fever and relieves headache and body ache, Sodium Citrate helps make thin mucus easier to cough out, and Menthol adds a cooling comfort in the throat.

Must not be used with any other medicine containing paracetamol. Must not be used by patients taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or within 2 weeks of stopping one. Must not be used by patients allergic to cetirizine, hydroxyzine or any ingredient of this syrup. Must not be used by patients with severe hypertension or severe coronary artery disease. Check with a doctor first if you have liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, glaucoma or prostate enlargement, or if you are taking warfarin, sedatives or tranquilizers.
