XENOSCAB LOTION (DPCO)PERMETHRIN 5%w/v IP

Xenoscab Lotion is a Permethrin 5%w/v lotion used for the treatment of scabies infestation. Main uses: treatment of infestation with Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies); treatment of scabies infestation caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite; applied to the skin as a topical treatment for scabies.

Common side effects of Xenoscab Lotion include mild burning or stinging after application; itching (pruritus) at or after application; redness of the skin (erythema); numbness; tingling; rash. Get medical help at once if you notice seizure (very rare and not confirmed to be related to the treatment); hypersensitivity reactions, which require the lotion to be stopped.
