About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Fevolam Cold Suspension, made by Vibcare Pharma, is a liquid medicine taken by mouth. Its three ingredients are Phenylephrine 5 mg, Chlorpheniramine Maleate 1 mg and Paracetamol 125 mg. Belonging to the cough and cold class, it is packed as 60ml from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

Phenylephrine acts on the blood vessels in the nose to open a stuffy passage. Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks histamine and so helps with sneezing, itching and watery discharge. Paracetamol brings down fever and eases headache, sore throat pain and body aches.

Used for

Fevolam Cold Suspension is meant for the temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms such as a blocked nose, runny nose, sneezing, headache, sore throat, minor aches and fever. Overdose of Paracetamol can lead to severe liver damage, so stay away from other products with Paracetamol and from 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day. Skin reddening, blisters or rash are rare but serious reactions to Paracetamol; if they appear, stop use and get help at once.

Read the label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist if unsure.
