About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Urovib B6 is an oral syrup from Vibcare Pharma, supplied in a 200ml pack. The syrup combines Potassium Citrate 1100 mg, Magnesium Citrate 375 mg and Vitamin B6 20 mg. It belongs to the citrate salts with a vitamin class of medicines and is used in urology and renal care. Urovib B6 is packed as 200ml and is available from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

When taken by mouth, the citrate from potassium citrate is absorbed and produces an alkaline load in the body. This helps raise the pH of urine and increase the amount of citrate in urine, so that stone-forming salts are less likely to settle out. Magnesium citrate provides magnesium and adds more citrate to that alkaline load. Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin that the body uses in protein and amino acid metabolism.

Used for

Urovib B6 is used for the management of renal tubular acidosis with calcium stones, hypocitraturic calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis of any cause, and uric acid stones with or without calcium stones. Use should be avoided in chronic renal failure, severe heart damage or heart failure, where potassium excretion may be impaired, and potassium levels must be monitored with periodic blood tests and ECGs.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
