Vibodine Gargle is a povidone iodine antiseptic liquid used for antiseptic care of the mouth, throat and skin. Main uses: antiseptic cleansing of the skin before injections or minor procedures; antiseptic care of minor cuts, grazes and small burns; gargle for antiseptic care of the mouth and throat; antiseptic cleansing of intact skin and mucous membranes; pre-procedure skin preparation for dental or minor surgical work.

Common side effects of Vibodine Gargle include mild burning or stinging at the site of use; skin redness or irritation; brown staining of skin, teeth, tongue, clothing or towels; unpleasant or metallic taste in the mouth after gargling; dry or flaky skin with repeated use; local allergic skin reaction such as itching or rash. Get medical help at once if you notice severe allergic reaction with swelling of the face, lips or tongue and difficulty breathing; worsening of irritation or a spreading rash that does not settle after stopping use; effect on the thyroid gland with prolonged use over large areas or broken skin.
